DAILY CALL SHEET: APRIL 14, 2023

The Outing (1987) Sort-of teens spend the night in a museum with a murderous jinn. Another helping of 80's junk food for discerning pallette. TIL: Islam gives King Solomon some upgrades from the original Jewish texts, including the ability to speak to animals and control jinn.

Bloodsucking Pharaohs in Pittsburgh (1991) Not a Troma flick as the title suggests, but rather a weirdly entertaining horror-comedy riff on HGL's Blood Feast. TIL: The identity of the Pharaoh in the story of Moses is up for debate, but most scholars go with King Ramses II.

One Sheet Words of Wisdom: The Godsend (1980) "It was not the volume of sin that sent Christ to the cross; it was the fact of sin." - Ravi Zacharias

DAILY CALL SHEET: APRIL 3, 2023

Sasquatch, the Legend of Bigfoot (1976) Silly vignettes, relaxing stock footage, and (if you're young enough) one scene to make you brown your trousers. TIL: Desperate to find Bigfoot in the Bible, some claim Esau, born covered entirely with red hair, was in fact a Sasquatch.

Freeze Frames #006: "Judge each day not by the harvest you reap but by the seeds you plant." - William A. Ward
