Alright. I'm about sick of being sick. Another four days down the drain doped up on antihistamines, unable to form a coherent thought, and falling hopelessly behind in work and blogging. What would Benny Hinn and the rest of those boys say?
Yep, all except the last picture. That would be George Hamilton. This is from the mid-70s biopic which used actual jump footage in between the dramatic scenes. (Appropriately enough, I saw it at the drive-in when it came out.)
That was really funny. I remember that movie. Even as a kid I remember thinking it was terrible. But I still love it but I can't be trusted because my favorite movie of all time is Big Trouble in Little China.
!!! I just learned that E.E. "Doc" Smith was a doughnut engineer before becoming the ur-lord of pulp space-opera!!! I'm not quite sure of the significance, but it's just mind-blowing.
No, no, I meant the original jump, that crashed the chicken stand. And not long after that the Fonz returned to the Church, 'though I was young & the memory is hazy. I remember it. 'though, because it was the first time I saw Catholicism on TV. Probably should become more hazy. But no, you haven't jumped the shark in my book.....

"Only he didn't say fudge."
He said "caramel"? "taffy"? "jelly beans"?
word verification: fslkd - what he actually said.

Ow, now I'm having flashbacks to the motorcycle jump in "Happy Days"! At least they were Catholic.....

That would explain Doc's circuitous turns of phrase!
Working in the Christmas Story reference is unquestionably brilliant.

I hope this doesn't mean I've officially jumped the shark.
