The Devil’s Express (1976) Ancient Chinese secret looses demon in the NYC subways. Only Warhawk Tanzania (should have named my kid that) is man enough to face it. TIL: Yep, Chinese demon. All cultures have believed in spiritual entities that try to influence a person’s character.

Where would the Pevencie kids be without the kindness of Mr. and Mrs. Beaver? They might never have gotten to Aslan’s camp if it weren’t for the talkative twosome. But such creatures are just fantasy, right? Well, maybe. Over at Speculative Faith, C. J. Darlington ponders the question, “Are Talking Animals Biblical?”


And finally, we mourn the passing and celebrate the life of one of comic’s true greats, Steve Ditko. He was one of my favorites and gave me too many good memories to count. Thank you, Steve. Godspeed into eternity and may perpetual light shine upon you.
