DAILY CALL SHEET: FEBRUARY 9, 2019

Reptilicus (1961) Denmark joins the kaiju craze with perhaps the goofiest entry in the genre. Bless their hearts, they didn't even try to hide the strings. TIL: Catholics comprises less than 1% of the population in Denmark, so I'm afraid this film is entirely on the Lutherans :)

My extremely long review of Reptilicus can be found here.

Still Voices - Frankenstein (1931) "It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light." - Aristotle

Dad Rock Daily: Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die (1970) Winwood and the boys go full jazz-rock much to the delight of those who like jazz-rock. Others will be... iffy. Laudable Lyrics: Although I'm getting tired I've got to travel on. Can you please help, my god?

That album was one of the first CDs I ever bought.
I just listened to it again in the last ten days or so.

Yeah, I'm enjoying revisiting a lot of these.
