The Curse (1987) When they aren't turning into pus oozing psychos, half the cast spends their time slapping Wil Wheaton around. I'm okay with that. TIL: For the record, "He who loves his son will not spare the rod." does not grant carte blanche to beat a child senseless.

Wil Wheaton was a professional, and a far better person than Wesley Crusher. He didn't try to improvise his way through the technobabble when he forgot it, he'd say, "and blow my line." He went to the writers early in the first season and told them, "Look, Wesley has saved this ship four times, and nobody else has done it once, and that's not fair to the rest of the cast."
I've no problem with early Wil Wheaton, he's actually good in this movie. Unfortunately, like so many others on Twitter, he seems to have adopted politics as a type of religion and become unhinged because of it. I had to quit following his posts.
