Southern Comfort (1981) National guardsmen come into conflict with creepy Cajuns. Another great nerve wrecker from Walter Hill. TIL: Actually, Cajuns are generally peaceful and religious. In fact, the gold star on the white field of their official flag symbolizes Our Lady of the Assumption.
Still Voices - Dawn of the Dead (1978) "But if you go on biting and devouring one another, beware that you are not consumed by one another." - Galatians 5:15
Dad Rock Daily: The O'Jays - Ship Ahoy (1973) Soulful songs about racial tension, the environment, materialism, and the need for prayer. Was this made in '73 or this morning? Laudable Lyrics: Cause we're gonna sing glory hallelujah so the whole wide world can hear.

Do you eat Cajun food? Because eating Cajun food makes me fel peaceful and religious, too. Right before my nap.
There are Cajuns in my family tree. Were it not Friday, I would happily gorge on some red beans, rice, and andouille sausage right this minute.
