DAILY CALL SHEET: NOVEMBER 3, 2019

Invasion of the Saucer Men (1957) Bulbous-headed aliens kill their victims with alcohol poisoning? Like humans need any help doing that TIL: The Church considers excessive drinking grave matter if it causes the loss of senses or the inability to distinguish right from wrong.

Still Voices - The Mission (1986) "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me." - Psalm 23:4

Dad Rock Daily: Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band - Against the Wind (1980) Bob mellows a bit, but still delivers dependable rock straight from the Heartland. Laudable Lyrics: Headin' in or headin' out, standing on the shore. Pause a moment to reflect which trip costs you more.

And finally, as long as we’re on the subject of Seger, if you’ve ever deep dived into Catholic apologetics on the Web, then you’ve more than likely run across the writings of Dave Armstrong. What you might not know is that the inveterate debater on all things Church related is also quite the Seger devotee, as the evidence makes quite clear.

Haven't seen Invasion of the Saucer Men in so long I forgot they killed with alcohol poisoning. Good "bad" movie though. Was funny.

Yep, definitely an original way to knock people off. It was mostly death rays or blood sucking in those days.
