Thank you for stopping by, Rae. Always glad to provide an uplift to my fellow Christians. Of course it's easy when 80-90% of what I do is just quoting people smarter and wiser than me, but I'm not proud, I'll take kudos where I can get them :)
Sorry about that. The B&W stills are from How To Make A Monster (1958) which recycles make-up from I Was A Teenage Werewolf & I Was A Teenage Frankenstein. The color stills are from one of the Son Of Hercules movies. It probably doesn't matter which as they all seem to have a scene with a lion or a bear in them at some point.
yay!!! Of course, some of us aren't going to make it to Iron Man 2 :( and are sadly reduced to having Ozzy's tune from watching the trailer stuck in our heads for days. Glad to have some entertainment here. You've certainly convinced me not to ever, ever see SSOYG.
Do you know "Demon Knight"? I think it was a Tales From the Crypt production. Is it too high budget/high brow for this venue?
Hmmm, let' see, a budget of $13 million the same year the 100+ million dollar Batman Forever came out, plus it star is the perennial supporting actor Billy Zane. I think it clears the budget test.
As for High brow? A movie narrated by a pun-slinging puppet? I think we're safe there as well.
I was debating what to go with for the next mega-review, but I think you've spared me the decision.
Oh my gosh, that was *%#*%@ hilarious! You made me laugh and laugh and laugh! Brilliant! Hey, I have no problem with you stealing older and wiser material so long as you can turn it into hilarity such as this! I'd never heard of you till tonight. The Happy Catholic blog linked to you and I'm gonna tell every Catholic I know about you. (I'm a new convert so you know I will too.) I'll be back.
Paula, I'm so happy to have a neighbor from up north drop by. Way back in my pre-cable middle school days, I used to spend late Sundays trying desperately to adjust the rabbit ears so I could pick up SCTV. Count Floyd was a favorite, of course. I probably owe a good chunk of my sense of humor to Canada.
"I probably owe a good chunk of my sense of humor to Canada."
It shows!
I spent a good 2 hours of my Mother's Day perusing your blog and boy, did I have fun. Time well spent. You should publish this stuff and make a few bucks for your time.

Welcome back to the Land of the Living (or at least the Land of the Writing!) I loved the pictures.
"Hey! Could somebody get this @#$%^ lion off of me!"
LOL!
Great job, as usual.
Good to be back. Now if only I can keep from getting run right back out again for cartoons like this.
Excellent! Tweeting and Facebook-ing this one. Thanks to Curt Jester for sending me here.
Alleluia, He is Risen!

Welcome back, glad you're better, love the new content ... even the review of I Spit On Your Grave.
But you know SOMEBODY has to ask: from what wretched films are the stills taken?

I was wandering about the "Happy Catholic" blog when I saw this.
Thank you, friend. You have really cheered me up.
My pleasure.
I'm pretty sure now that the message here is... make more cartoons.
